The OpenO&M™ Initiative is a collaborative effort including multiple open standards
organizations that enables interoperability between key Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
solutions components in Manufacturing, Fleet and Capital Facility environments. With
oversight from the OpenO&M Owner/Operator Leadership Council and the support of major
industry associations, the OpenO&M Interoperability Demonstration leverages key open
standards to enable the support of critical industry defined use cases with "sensor to enterprise"
interoperable solutions provided by the key industry vendors.
In conjunction with the IMC, MIMOSA has for the past three years staged a major version
of the OpenO&M Interoperability Demonstration targeting the cross industry maintenance
and reliability community. This year, we will expand upon past successes with a
demonstration highlighting use cases and major industry projects in both heavy process
industries and the military services. Representatives from the OpenO&M Owner/Operator
Industry Leadership Council will discuss the importance of the OpenO&M led activity to
their organizations critical maintenance, reliability, safety and quality activities.
