Understanding the configuration of an asset at a point in time. Asset configuration includes:
- The physical assembly structure including sub components and materials. This includes tracking deviations from the original OEM model, perhaps as a separate model.
- Software (e.g. EEPROM) versions and configuration
This should be a temporal model to support historical analysis.
