MIMOSA at ARC Orlando Forum

MIMOSA will once again be a sponsoring industry association for the upcoming ARC Forum in Orlando FL. 2011 MIMOSA Meeting

MIMOSA meetings will be on held on October 4-6 in the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio — the same venue as the World Congress on Engineering Asset Management which is running its main sessions on October 2-4. A MIMOSA Board meeting will be held the evening of October 5 with a full MIMOSA annual meeting with annual elections being held on October 6 at the University of Cincinnati Intelligent Maintenance Systems Center. The cost is $200 which is paid on-site at the WCEAM registration tables.

OpenO&M/MIMOSA Meetings – Including MIMOSA Members Annual Meeting

Register now for the OpenO&M / MIMOSA meetings scheduled for September 26 and 27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando in conjunction with ISA Automation Week. OpenO&M and OGI Pilot meetings will be held in Room 414D on Wednesday morning, September 26 followed by an OpenO&M Interoperability Demonstration in the Exhibit Hall. OpenO&M and MIMOSA Technical Committee meetings will be held on Wednesday afternoon. The MIMOSA Annual Members meeting will be held on Thursday morning starting at 9AM. Standards Leadership Council Meeting- June 28, 2012

Formative Meeting

Earlier this year, the executive leaders from each of the eight standards organizations most crucial to the oil and gas industry met to form the Standards Leadership Council. Participating organizations were: Energistics, MIMOSA, PIDX International, POSC Caesar Association (PCA), Professional Petroleum Data Management Association (PPDM), The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), The OPC Foundation, The Pipeline Open Data Standards Association (PODS) and the Society of Geophysicist (SEG).

Joint Meeting With Our Members

On June 28, 2012, the Standards Leadership Council will host an historic event. All eight standards organizations will be present in Houston, Texas for a one day meeting. You will have an opportunity to discover what each of the organizations is doing, and to discuss how we can work together to enhance the value proposition for you, our members.

We ask senior thought leaders from our member organizations to spend the day with us. Tell us what you think, and hear what others think. As a community, we have a tremendous opportunity to build synergy through standards. Help us realize this vision.

Joint OpenO&M and MIMOSA / PCA Forum

The Joint Forum will be hosted by IBM and Chevron at the IBM (2 Riverway, Houston TX 77056, USA, 2nd floor) and Chevron (1400 Smith St, HOU140/40066) in downtown Houston, February 27th through March 1st 2012. OpenO&M/MIMOSA and PCA Forum Americas 2011

OpenO&M/MIMOSA and PCA invite you to attend the OpenO&M/MIMOSA and PCA Forum – Americas 2011. The PCA Forum will be hosted by Chevron at Chevron Office, Briar Park office in west Houston, February 22nd through Feb 24th, 2011.

The Forum will feature presentations and discussion from both owner/operators and suppliers identifying key business requirements and solutions leveraging open, supplier neutral standards, with a focus on the benefits of using OpenO&M and ISO 15926 in coordinated fashion.

Key themes:

  • An integrated approach Operations and Maintenance Management incorporating Management of Change and Operational Risk Management
  • Perspectives on Sustainable Interoperability and Life-cycle Engineering
  • The roles of key standards – ISO 15926 and OpenO&M/MIMOSA usage and implementation

The event can accommodate up to 75 people and will consist of several simultaneous sessions starting Tuesday at 1:00 PM on the 22nd and ending in a joint MIMOSA/PCA conference on the 24th.

FIATECH board and member companies are also invited to this event

MIMOSA is a member of both the OpenO&M and the Standards Leadership Council.
