Cancelled: MIMOSA 2017 Annual Members and Open Meetings

MEETING Cancellation Notice: The MIMOSA Open and Members meeting has been cancelled due to the recent flooding events in Houston, which resulted in the closure of the BP Conference Facilities. We are in the process of re-scheduling the meetings. The most likely dates are now November 16-17, 2017.

MIMOSA announces their 2017 Annual MIMOSA Open Meeting and MIMOSA Members Meeting to be held in Houston, Texas on Sep 28-29,  2017.  The meeting is being hosted by BP and the address for the meetings is BP Helios,  201 Helios Way Houston, Texas 77079.

MIMOSA 2016 Annual Members Meetings

MIMOSA announces their Annual MIMOSA Open Meeting and MIMOSA Members Meeting to be held in Houston, Texas on Dec 07,  2016.  The meeting is being hosted by BP and the address for the meetings is BP Helios,  201 Helios Way Houston, Texas 77079.

The MIMOSA Open Meeting will start at 8:30 AM, with registration starting at 8:00 along with coffee and pastries being served.  It will feature discussion including both members and potential members, helping everyone to gain a shared understanding of the Business Issues we are addressing as well as the overall Solutions Methodology, including a focus on the Open Industrial Interoperability Ecosystem (OIIE) as a pragmatic alternative to the status quo.  The MIMOSA Open Meeting will conclude at 13:00.

The MIMOSA Members Meeting will start at 13:30 and continue until 17:30.  The MIMOSA Members Meeting will focus on areas of greatest interest to our members, including Owner/Operators, EPCs, Equipment OEMs, Software Suppliers and invited guests.   It will also include the MIMOSA 2016 Business Meeting.  .

Standards-based Interoperability Strategy and Planning Workshop

MIMOSA will hold an all day Standards-based Interoperability Strategy and Planning Workshop on Dec 2, 2015.  The meeting will be hosted by BP America at their Westlake facilities in Houston, Texas and discussions will focus on plans for 2016, related to the further development and deployment of the Open Industrial Interoperability Ecosystem (OIIE), in conjunction with MIMOSA members, industry partners and other interested parties.

Particpating Industry Association Partners will include, Fiatech, PCA, OPC Foundation, PPDM and USPI.

Registration and arrivals will commence at 8:00 AM CST, with coffee and pastries being served in the meeting room.  The workshop will commence at 8:30 AM with a welcome and safety briefing from our host, Ken Dunn and the workshop will conclude at 4:00 PM CST.

The MIMOSA 2015 Members Business Meeting will be hosted by BP America in their Houston offices at Westlake Park Blvd. Houston, Tx, 77079 on Dec 1, 2015.

Registration and arrivals will commence at 9:00 AM CST, with coffee and pastries being served in the meeting room.  The informal portion of the meeting will commence at 9:30 AM with a welcome and safety briefing from our host, Ken Dunn.  The formal MIMOSA Business Meeting will begin at 2:00CST and will conclude at 4:00 PM CST.

Joint MIMOSA and Fiatech Industry Standard Datasheet Definition Meeting

A Joint MIMOSA and Fiatech Industry Standard Datasheet Definition Meeting will be held on August 4 and 5 in Houston, Texas and it will be co-located with the Solutions 2.0 Conference at The Westin Galleria, 5011 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77056. The meeting will start at 1:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon, August 4 and will end at noon on Wednesday, August 5. The meeting is an outgrowth of the continuing series of Joint Meetings associated with Reference Data Library improvement and there is a special emphasis on Physical Asset Life-cycle Management related RDL.

Due to an agreement between MIMOSA, Fiatech and Reliability Web, there will be no cost to attendees for this ISDD meeting. All interested parties must contact either MIMOSA or Fiatech in advance for your meeting registration. Please arrive no later than 12:30 PM on August 4, so the meeting may start promptly at 1:00 PM.

MIMOSA 2013 Members Meeting

MIMOSA will hold its 2013 Annual Business Meeting at 1300 S. Grove St. in Barrington, IL on Dec 11, 2013 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM CST. There will also be planning sessions for our 2014 activities on the following morning, Dec 12 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. We encourage participation in the business meeting from all of our members in good standing. A GoToMeeting Web Conference will be provided for the meeting for those who cannot attend in person.

MIMOSA is pleased to have Applied Technology Publications, The Manufacturing Connection and Physical Asset Lifecycle host our meetings as part of a long and continuing relationship with the publishers of these industry focused media. While MIMOSA has met in alignment with the MARTS Conference for many of the past 8 years, we are working to have an even stronger alignment with the industry media teams as they move forward incorporating Life-cycle Physical Asset Management, Asset Performance Management and the Automation and Control Community in support of key MIMOSA led interoperability activities such as the OGI Pilot. In this regard, MIMOSA will be finalizing our plans for 2014 during these meetings with public announcements to follow shortly thereafter.

MIMOSA and PCA Owner/Operator Forum – Americas 2013

The Forum will feature presentations and discussion from owner/operators and invited guests (principally EPCs and standards team leaders as well as FIATECH) identifying key business requirements and solutions leveraging open, supplier neutral standards, with a focus on the benefits of using OpenO&M/MIMOSA and ISO 15926/PCA Reference Data Library in coordinated fashion.

2011 MIMOSA Meeting

MIMOSA meetings will be on held on October 4-6 in the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio — the same venue as the World Congress on Engineering Asset Management which is running its main sessions on October 2-4. A MIMOSA Board meeting will be held the evening of October 5 with a full MIMOSA annual meeting with annual elections being held on October 6 at the University of Cincinnati Intelligent Maintenance Systems Center. The cost is $200 which is paid on-site at the WCEAM registration tables.

OpenO&M/MIMOSA Meetings – Including MIMOSA Members Annual Meeting

Register now for the OpenO&M / MIMOSA meetings scheduled for September 26 and 27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando in conjunction with ISA Automation Week. OpenO&M and OGI Pilot meetings will be held in Room 414D on Wednesday morning, September 26 followed by an OpenO&M Interoperability Demonstration in the Exhibit Hall. OpenO&M and MIMOSA Technical Committee meetings will be held on Wednesday afternoon. The MIMOSA Annual Members meeting will be held on Thursday morning starting at 9AM. Joint OpenO&M and MIMOSA / PCA Forum
